I remember John Holmes as a very clever stand-off with a great football brain, not the quickest ( I've seen milk turn faster ) but made up for that with his reading of a game.
R.I.P. my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

John was a real solid club player, but more important a gentleman who put so much back into the game, rather than many now who just want to take!
My thoughts are with his Family.
