Everyone was singing Smith's praises when Longy was out injured saying Longy should't get back in the team.

Smith looks like he has the ability to control a game more than kyle.
Kyle looks a great prospect though, as long as Wilkin is given more responsibility like Sinfield imo.

I think letting Longy go could be a mistake but hopefully I will be proved wrong.

Rose tinted glasses there mate.I have yet to see Smith do anything that classes him as a better player than Myler. Come to think of it Eastmond is hardly a world beater.Still can not believe you have let Longy go as you will now have no kicking game.

We have one or two other players though who have yet to have serious game time who have kicking games and I'm quite sure, if our coach is worth his wages, the (lack of) kicking game will be a focus for the off season. No team should be relying on only one player to kick. That's been our mistake and I hope we have learned from it.

Not rose tinted, just going on what i've seen Smith took us to the grand final in 07 and was dropped for the final, and look what happened. I'm not ready to right him off yet. as for myler i havn't seen enough of him to warrant the hype.

I would suggest that the surrounding team was looking a little better when smith was lining up at 7 for us.

It was definitely, but Smith has show he can do well with a decent team round him, kyle hasn't had the opportunity yet. A big year for both players next year.
