As such a professional outfit in all aspects of the game with the obvious exception of goal kicking, I'm bemused and baffled why the Saints take the skill and importance of place kicking so lightly???????????? surely its not inconceivable to wonder why in a club with so many top flight players not one decent kicker can be found I'm lost for words!

Three of our kickers were injured and the other three were either not chosen (Ellis, Foster) or chosen but hardly played (Lomax). Potter's decision - a wrong one IMO. I'm just hoping Wellens' confidence will be ok after last night. |

All the top sides have dedicated place kickers all better than we have at Saints. Long as decided he doesn't want to kick ! Is it beyond the realms of possibility to expect our club to pick and train 3 or 4 players under the tuition of a professional kick coach and get them to at least practice during normal training sessions ? Our approach at the moment seems to be WHO WANTS TO KICK TONIGHT ??? NOT GOOD ENOGH MR. POTTER GET YOUR FINGER OUT. |

When it comes to place kicking we are unprofessional ! I can go back to the likes of Austin Rhodes and his ilk who practiced their art and delivered, our players are after all well paid professionals and to expect a couple who have some ability to put their hand up for intense training is in my mind expected ! pay a bonus for every goal kicked,
