agree entirely...youll not hear of half of them in a couple of years.
some people make out theyre worldbeaters..wev'e heard all that before.

Dickson,Wheeler,Foster,Maguiness and Frodsham all played for Blackbrook in the under 16s against us every one of them are freaks all will make it. Wheeler prob has the most potentiol out of them all IMO

You know, the only youngster I have seen mentioned in that way this season has been Eastmond. The others have slipped into the team under the radar. They have become noticed purely due to their playing ability which, IMO, is entirely different from them being labelled as 'worldbeaters'. They have simply shown themselves capable of standing up to the test, sometimes in some very challenging encounters. Not all of them have been equally good. But I would totally agree with the three signings made so far. Those three have been outstanding for us, Dixon and Ashurst being particularly impressive simply because they are the newer crop (Wheeler is just quite simply impressive!).

And, you know, it's not impossible for a group of young talents to come through all at once. Ask any teacher about cohorts. Sometimes, classes seem to produce a quantity of really talented children whereas at other times teachers struggle to find a single one. There is no rhyme or reason to it; it just happens. It might just have happened at Saints this season, only time will tell.

Sometimes it is more about attitude than ability.

At Wigan we've had a few Billy big boys who think they've made it once they pulled a first team shirt on.
They are no longer at the club. You then look at the kids like Hansen who works his @rse off.

It has happened and I'm led to believe is happening at Saints with a couple of players.
Some have left and more will follow. Saints management will not allow it.
