I do agree with most of your post but I thought it should be mentioned that the Catalans fans behaviour at the end was an absolute disgrace throwing bottles at Long and Bentham. Having had a chance to speak to Bentham post-match they went cmpletely over the top with someone even throwing a cigarette at him that burnt right the way thorugh his shirt.

On a positive note though couldn't agree more about the atmosphere in the build up, and during the match. Fantastic weekend and I'm already eyeing up the return next year]

I don't condone the fans' behaviour in anyway but Bentham's performance was inept to say the least. Why did he not stop the clock while Long took almost three minutes to place his final kick? Why did he not stop play when Pelo was lying stretched out and a stretcher was on the pitch?

And where did he dream up that Pelo knocked on when the ball did not even leave his hands? These and many more dubious decisions certainly annoyed the fans!

Saints scored the last try in the 77th minute, and then play restarted, so he couldnt possibly have let the clock run for 3 minutes.

Play never stops when a player is injured and not interfering with play. Pelo was laid out near the halfway line, Catalans had the ball and were moving away from the injured player. He stopped the clock when Saints got the ball and started moving back towards the halfway line.

Good clean and cheep. The only issue is that you have toi check in between 2 and 6pm as the front desk is unmaned and you have to check in to put your car in the car park. A bit of a pain if you are trying to get drunk in a cafe.

agree about free tickets for the schoolkids, there were 6 of us got on the ground about 5 15 we had to split up 3 got seats the others had to stand at the side with the mesh up. not good enough.
