It's not good of Dave Woods to say that kind of thing. I know we were all relieved to get Thunder instead of, say, Wigan, but that doesn't mean to say Thunder are going to be little lambs. They get at least two NRL guys joining them this week, possibly with a third fresh out of NRL comp, so if they have a meaty team and a real desire to do some giant killing (which is exactly how the draw should have been presented), then we may well find this is a banana skin for us, especially given our recent form. Remember, we are the only team so far to have been almost try-less against Celtic. Sure, they probably upped their game for us, but I think the only matches this season that have looked easy for us have been Castleford and Wakefield. All the rest have been difficult either because we've made them difficult through our poor play or the opposition has come at us all guns blazing. |
