he didnt break in, reardon did. leon could have followed him in to try and get him to come out and make sure things didnt go to far, for all any of us know, but when he went in, reardons ex wifes partner came at him with a bat, he defended himself by pushing him away, he didnt hit anyone, he didnt attack anyone with any sort of weapon, he defended himself, the same as anyone would have done, his mistake was to follow reardon to the flat in the first place. does that mean he deserves to be sacked, i dont think it does,

Its not always a smart decision, but most people have been in the position of have a drunk mate who is very angry to control, its not easy and most people just try and calm them down without force, not an easy situation though.

some one forced entry!! so read my post above
all i said is what i would do if someone broke into my house. if someone kicks you door in you cant see who kicked the door in! you would only see who comes through the door.
thats all i have said. as the judge said readons wife and boyfriend were terrified which is undrstandable.

They were'nt found not guilty, the prosecution offered no evidence in return for their guilty pleas to assault. The fact that reardon was made to pay for the door kind of proves he broke it.

I can guarante you, had it PROVED that they or he had broken in then they would of both bin sent down.
A damaged door does not prove somebody as broken in. You kick a football at someones door. Door damages. You have then broken in ?

my mistake, just trying to get a point over that leon has been imo, punished, fairly by the court and also by the club, for people to say he should be suspended for the rest of the season or even sacked is really beyond belief

| Some people are idiots, if you look at the whole thing and put it into perspective there is no way he should have been sacked. Self-defence.

as ive said i think saints have done what most other clubs in pro sport have done.
i think for the good of our sport! we need hard and fast rules. so nobody within the game is unclear about what is acceptable behaviour.
pryce is just one amost many who has brought our game into disripute and he's not the only one who is a repeat offender. within the last few years at least half the clubs in the league have all had bad press from players stepping out of line.
the RFL needs to step up and and be strong like the nrl
