"I'm sure this is another chance to watch those individual battles. The one between James Graham and Ryan Bailey was well documented and that's part of what makes rugby league.
"Why take the aggressive nature out of the sport? If we do that, we risk turning the game into a non-contact sport almost like netball. "The strength of rugby league is the contact and aggression so why would we want to wipe that out of the game?
"We're programmed to enjoy the aggression and physicality of the game. We're all competitive people and that's what brings the best out of us.
"We wouldn't play rugby league if we didn't enjoy the aggression. It was certainly one of the things that inspired me to play the game.'" |
