NEWS OF DUAL REG PLAYERS FROM 2016
Will Maher and Tom Holmes of Castleford have both signed with Batley on season-long loans with a recall option.
Tuoyo Egodo of London Broncos has signed for Castleford.
Sean Hesketh of Batley has signed for Keighley.
Lewis Bienek and Callum Bustin have signed 2 and 1 year contracts respectively with London Broncos. So that means moving up to the first team squad although Bienek is also still eligible for the Academy.
Kieran Gill of Castleford has signed with Oldham on a season-long loan.
Jordan Williams, previously with London Broncos, has signed for London Skolars.

OTHER
Dual registration with both Castleford and London Broncos continues.
Oxford started pre-season in December 2016.

Just confirmed In a press release. Looks like Whitehaven were to slow.

Yep, Cox has now definitely signed up (blindside first with the news nearly two weeks ago). Also Liam O’Callaghan and Harrison Brough in from Hemel, whilst Harvey Burnett, Luke Gardiner and Luke Evans have re-signed. Had to delay visiting any RL site myself today until after I'd watched the England game....

At the moment this thread has 14 players in Oxford's 2017 squad. Today's member email states "The good news on the player recruitment front is that we are close to completing it. We have retained a good amount of promising youngsters, recruited some more talented ones and secured continued dual registration partnerships with Castleford Tigers and London Broncos." So presumably that means there are some players secured that we don't yet know about officially.

Also, ticket prices confirmed as unchanged:
Season Tickets - Adult £100, Concession £50
On the day - Adult £12, Concession £6, Junior £3, Infant £1

Concessions - Seniors aged 65 and over, students (valid ID reqd), disabled (wheelchair and ambulant), armed services (ID reqd)
Juniors - 5-16
Infants - under 5s

Some more updates - Casey Canterbury and Josh Scott have re-signed.

Tommy Newbould joins - he plays "backline or the back row" according to Tim Rumford. So does backline mean three-quarters? Or, to return to one of my bugbears, is he a centre who gets played in the second row?

Latest new signing is Josh Atkinson, a centre from Newcastle, but who was previously with Castleford and has played a couple of games in Super League.

In other news, Jordan Andrade has signed for Gloucestershire All Golds "despite interest from a number of other League 1 clubs".

Some info gathered from a quick look at this week's (late arriving) League Express:
Jesse Sheriffe, who played a couple of games on loan from Keighley at the end of last season, has now signed permanently.
Jorge Richardson, who played a few games for Oxford at the start of last season and then completely disappeared from view (possibly injured?), has signed for Hemel for 2017.

Twitter tells me Stu Biscomb has re-joined. Fantastic signing.

Another warm-up match announced - away to NCL Division 2 champions Hunslet Club Parkside ARLFC on Sunday 15 January. Hunslet website says kick-off at 11.30am, RFL website says 2pm.
