| What a win against a strong York side, we are seeing this year that our boys can play some rugby.
Although our start wasn't the best, Oxford teams of seasons gone would have crumbled and the normal service of North vs South would have followed...
Looking forward to the rest of the season after a significant scalp like that.
Every player played their part, however I think Callum Windley is doing some fantastic work at half showing real passion and desire.
Burnett as also putting everything on line, think he ended up in the middle, a long way from the centre position that he loves.
We seem to have a prolific strike force on our edges, Gill securing a hat trick on his first start. Along with Atkinson and Macdonald both featuring on the score sheet regularly this year with some outstanding pieces of RL.
Our pack has been doing well with some big carries from the likes of Biscomb and Cox, both being pretty big human beings this should carry on.
McRae is another one who has been consistently doing a fantastic job in the middle, with some very good carries and a unreal work rate.
Looking forward to trapping some bears this Friday.

| Good to see an expansion club taking some big scalps.
Skolars and York are no push overs.
Skolars were realing after the defeat in the cup and it was quite obvious it carried on into the All golds game as they looked flat and lacking belief.
Those two wins will no doubt make people sit up and notice!
Good to read Ant Cox is playing well.
When he gets back to full fitness you'll see what he was doing at Broncos and Skolars.
Good luck at Coventry!
Congratulations on the York win!

| Having taken a few days to ponder it, Sunday was the most enjoyable Oxford game I've been to. It was clear before the game that we did have a chance - York have had a ropey off-season (yet again) and they had some players out, whilst Oxford have performed well over several games. I had a sore throat all Monday from shouting.
