| Oh dear. York were probably too good for our first 17, they were far too good for the 17 we fielded. Unfortunately we seem to have lost another member of the pack for a few weeks today. We seem to be running out of bodies fast.
I don't want to be harsh on the lads who played today. Many of the less experienced players put in good shifts and have no reason to beat themselves up. A combination of a good York team, with some impressive dual reg lads, too many errors and missed tackles saw York home with ease.
Thank goodness we have next week off, hopefully that will help a few of the injured list recover for Gateshead.
Incidentally if we ever return to Henley, a decent set up, the club need to look at stewarding the entry better. Sadly a few people are boasting on a non league football forum I know that they got in for free, I suspect via the car park. Sad but true.

| Thanks for that, will definitely look at Stewards if we go back, would have to be volunteers to control costs.
It was a hard day all round yesterday! It certainly didn't take me long to get to sleep last night.
We're running out of forwards and at this rate I'll have to start bringing my boots at the end of the year! The lads who are left are all running their blood to water so a weeks r+r can't come soon enough.
