It's just when a band comes on the radio etc my heart sinks, I don't necesseserily hate the band just their hateful songs!

| Muse have always been slightly flashy imo, their sound is built around Matt Bellamy's vituoso ability. They were touted as the new Radiohead when they first appeared but they never had the connectability, gritty, organic vibe or lyrical genius of Radiohead.

I don't hate the Beatles. I quite like Macca as a person & can drum my fingers to a couple of Wings songs. It's the adoration & worship around anything they have done which annoys & frustrates me.

I think its probably due to them being one of the most influential, innovative bands in history
Not sure of your age, but it's easy to look back and not get it.
We are so used to hearing over polished production and quick fire
instant hooks nowadays.. but then, your reference to wings.. actually, that just
has me worried

I was there for some of it, didn't get it but pretended I did because I didn't want to look like I didn't. Eventually I realised I was right afterall.

Nearly perfect but I do have a soft spot for Mr Diamond and I quite like the Smith even if their reputation and importance has become overblown.

Sorry if I've not got the same taste as you, Dad.
I'm going to my room now. I know when I'm wrong.
Can I put my telly on? I promise it wont be loud.
Night, night.
It must be great being as good as you. On second thoughts........

| Again, the same old line about The Beatles being 'innovative'. Again, the same question: How can you be considered innovative when your sound is ripping off other peoples work?
If you want to claim that they populised the US R&B and, later on, Psychadelic sounds then yes, no argument. But they didn't create either, they took what was already there and put it on a bigger stage.
The worlds first boyband.

I couldn't believe it myself as the song was a dirge and hearing her speak was painful too. Shirley Bassey showed how to do it properly though.

| Off the top of my head Skyfall is possibly the worst ever Bond song. Adele won the Oscar (and the BAFTA) simply for the fact that she's Adele.
