The Roses had 1 album that only came to the mainstream after bands like Oasis came to the forefront of music and said the Roses were the best Manchester band ever - and everyone jumped on the bandwagon.
Oasis had 3 great albums (and 4 dross ones) compared to 1 from the Roses.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not bagging the Roses in anyway as that album is superb and I still have my original copy from when it came out - but if you are comparing success no matter your opinion of the bands, then there is no comparison!'"
Well, yes, it is entirely the same. By your reckoning One Direction will go on to be than Oasis. |

And they are and they will be. One Direction cracked America - Oasis never did. Plenty of other UK pop/boybands have tried but never done what One Direction have done since The Beatles. |
