Aside from the announced departures it wouldn't be a surprise if both French players go. Goudemand has barely played under Arthur despite us being short up front, and he clearly doesn't trust Sangare to play more than a few minutes. They may want to stay, but I'd be telling both that we'll honour their contracts financially but season long loans to Championship clubs await if they try to hang around - i.e. they won't be part of the squad or be around Headingley. Momirovski ditto. Not sure how his ego would handle being loaned out to the Bulls for a year....

There's too much NRL interest for us to get RCG, but I'd hope we don't go too far down the pecking order to find a prop or two. we don't need another Lisone.

Depressingly, on page 1 of this thread people are lamenting Holroyd getting injured and how light our bench and forward pack are (Agar era). You'd think someone at the club would have had the sense to address these persistent failings by now. Supporting Leeds sure does feel like living in a time warp.

It's been an issue since peacock / Kylie/ etc left. We never really got a pack that worked how a pack should.

Good spot, that was Jan 22 and we had Mik, Prior and Tetevano so better quality back then. Albeit, Prior did hit the wall that year but he had to do too much work , similar to Mik now.

Apparently Liam Byrne is being shopped around by Wigan. Would he be a good option as a solid, but not spectacular type front rower? Could replace Sangare and Goudemand in the pecking order.

Not seen that, but if true it's a no brainer. In order to fill the gaps in the squad we are going to need to recruit a quality SL player. He fits that bill, and in the right position.
