Something clearly wrong with his technique

Yeh, totally agree.
Looks like King isn't gonna work out.
But no big deal, we can release him and replace with a non OQ prop.
We should have taken a punt on Harrison - he looked decent (as well as able to stay fit and play long minutes).

| Here's the bit I don't get. The club says nothing is decided but surely that means all 3 of them could come in on Monday morning and say they've signed for someone else. I can't quite believe we'd risk that.

Well I accept that's a possibility but I don't believe it's true.

| Assuming we dont/cant ship off someone like Thompson early and Gale see's out his deal, for next season id release all of King, Martin + Hurrell plus L Briscoe + McClellend and bring in as good a quality big quota prop as the money saved will allow.
FB. Myler + Walker
Wing. Handley + T Briscoe + Tindall
. Newman + Suttcliffe + Broadbent + Hall
Halves. Sezar + Austin + Gale + Sinfield
Prop. Oledzki + Prior + New Signing + Holroyd
Hooker. Leeming + Johnson + Dwyer
S/Row. Bentley + Mellor + Walters + Gannon
Loose. Tetavano + Smith + O'Connor
Utility Forwards. Donaldson + Thompson
SR/. Edwards
Thats a good, well balanced squad imo, would be highly competitive next season, whilst providing oppurtunities for our younger players and with Gale, Austin, Myler, T Briscoe, Thompson, Mellor, Dwyer, among others, off contract after nxt season, we would have plenty of cap and quota to improve again going forward.
By this time you would be hoping Walkers back ahead of Myler, Walters is moving ahead of Mellor, Johnson moving ahead of Dwyer, Tindalls ready to replace Briscoe (sign a new winger if not) Broadbents moving ahead of Suttcliffe and Edwards, Gannon and Sinfield are fullfilling there enourmous potential. We'l be in an extremely healty position in 18 month if handled properly, Exciting times.

| As Matts is saying, we could release all OOC players and still look strong - which is why the club is playing harder with the three and pitting the onus on them to earn a place.
When we signed them we were in a different place altogether - particularly Konnie and Rhyse.
Personally I would push Tetevano forward and start with Smith with O’Connor as backup. Been surprised with O’Connor - initially I thought we brought him to help the Walters deal, but actually he’s a talented sportsman in his own right.
Field is also looking for a LF position so we have some depth building there.
Can’t remember when we had such depth at centre and second row in particular.

O’Conner has been the better of the two, I’ve not been overly impressed with Walters but he’s still very young and has loads of potential

| Walters has the frame to do anything he wants in the game. He needs to work hard and get his head into it, then we might have a real player in our hands. He was good through the academy but he’s stalled a little over the last year - it happens. Cam Smith has taken a while and looks something like now.
Walters and Gannon could be an interesting combo going forward.

Depth at centre yes, but short on X factor without Hurrell. We know quantity doesn’t work too don’t we......

Broadbent and Newman have the potential to be our centre partnership for years. Unless they are given a chance we won't know that but both are young and will only improve. That's not to mention Edwards who has the ability to play anywhere on the field. Hurrell might have the x factor but how many times this season has he delivered an Xfactor performance?
