So sorry - but unlike you I had some work to attend to.
Thanks to Claypitrhino for reminding you of Burrow's MOM game changing performance against Hull KR last year and as I commented upon earlier in this thread he came on and made a positive impact against Hull KR last month too. Then against Salford in April this year he came on with the game in the balance and made a scored a game changing try with further positive contributions for Leeds to win 28-18. In the away game against Catalans this year he again played his part in coming from behind in the second half with two important try assists.
In this last game, against Wigan, Burrow would most likely have been the MOM had Handley twice made the obvious pass to him as it is his ability to back up at the right time that provides game changing opportunities that few others can match. Even in the drawn game against Huddersfield although he slipped and failed to make the winning score, he demonstrated his ability to increase our scoring chances.
Over the past two years Burrow has missed a lot of rugby with injuries and he has carried a niggling ham string which has had a negative effect on his performances. He has had little game time to get back into top form but this doesn't mean he is past it as my above points prove. Given an injury free run I feel sure he will be providing some more game changing impact as the season wears on.
But I do not expect you to agree with me on this as we obviously read the game in different ways. Yours is perhaps a more Eddie Izzard opinion than a Craig one
