Suspect there's quite a bit of misdirection going on from both Blease and Arthur at the moment. Yesterday Blease said there was nothing pending but then alluded to sorting out visas. I wouldn’t have thought we'd be sorting out visas unless we have somebody to sort a visa for. At the end of the day they'd be foolish to show their cards until the season comes to an end and the inevitable inquest officially begins. Whilst that inquest has probably been ongoing between the two of them and impacted players for weeks, I can quite understand while they wouldn't be talking about it in front of the media.

Aside from the announced departures it wouldn't be a surprise if both French players go. Goudemand has barely played under Arthur despite us being short up front, and he clearly doesn't trust Sangare to play more than a few minutes. They may want to stay, but I'd be telling both that we'll honour their contracts financially but season long loans to Championship clubs await if they try to hang around - i.e. they won't be part of the squad or be around Headingley. Momirovski ditto. Not sure how his ego would handle being loaned out to the Bulls for a year....

There's too much NRL interest for us to get RCG, but I'd hope we don't go too far down the pecking order to find a prop or two. we don't need another Lisone.

Depressingly, on page 1 of this thread people are lamenting Holroyd getting injured and how light our bench and forward pack are (Agar era). You'd think someone at the club would have had the sense to address these persistent failings by now. Supporting Leeds sure does feel like living in a time warp.
