The rumours regarding the NRL vision of SL must be worrying the life out half the current top flight teams, let alone Salford. By the sound of it, it's going to make Maurice Lindsay's plans of thirty years ago look positively benevolent. 

The rumours of Nathan Cleary coming to Super League won't go away.
Predictably, Wigan, Saints and Leeds are rumoured destinations.


Really hope we would go all out to get him to replace Frawley.
Presume we'd have to shuffle marquee stuff around, but if Wigan and Saints could, then why couldn't we.
I think Dodd will be back at Saints next year.


Maybe we could persuade his dad to come and replace BA as well.

I see ECW is out for 6 weeks… apparently we’re in the market as have cap space left according to Arthur.. interesting 

I still havent been able to work out why we signed ECW. A quota spot on anyone that isnt an immediate starter seems to be a waste. I know the quality of overseas players is generally not as high quality as it has been in the past but there are enough fringe players here without bringing in another one. So far he has had 1 start for the first team and other than that I dont think he has even been in the match day squad, happy to be corrected

What is being mooted?

Think it`s something to do with SL having a 10 team league that would include Wigan, Saints, Warrington, Leeds, HKR, Hull, Cats and Toulose and probably London.
That leaves 1 spot left for the others to fight over.
I`m sure someone more in the know will be able to tell you it better than I have.

Jock Madden is the more likely signing 

Lots of speculation given no-one seems sure how much dosh is involved. Potentially they could be looking at something much more radical.

Ryan Matterson anyone?

I wouldn't expect Toby Warren to return too be honest.

Probably for the best, another project big lad who just isn’t up to it.
