| ...I was tongue in cheek about players faking concussions BTW!
You can add pointless repetitive press conferences to the list, and probably some item of clothing or personal tic that people just don't like.

| Holroyd's a prime example of why you need a big rotation of genuine props. Until last year he'd barely played more than a handful of games a year. There had been rumours of him being unhappy with Rohan as well?
Just on Cam Smith. He can be a 'good' ball handler when he's second or third receiver. He's utterly terrible when he tries to make plays happen. When he's out of form, which he is, he needs to just focus on banging the ball in. That's what the team needs, not someone who kills momentum. We had similar issues with Sutcliffe at stand off. Some players just cannot handle that role.

| I am torn on Cam Smith. I think there is a good player in there who is just out of form. At this time I would just put him into the bench rotation and bring Corey on after 30 mins and move JOC to 13 for a spell. My bigger problem is that I’ve seen nothing on the field that makes me think he is a captain.

| The last competent coach Leeds had was English, played to a high standard in England and was known as a 100% commitment player albeit for Bradford.
When Rowley played for Halifax, when they were a decent SL team he was very much a 100% player.
I’d like Leeds to give Rowley the opportunity to shine

| Rowley my choice as he knows the league, knows 2 keys players and works well with blease. plus, he could start very quickly.
smith saying last night leeds were progressing well under him.

| I think the one thing this will do is raise morale amongst the fans. I never want my team to get beaten, but after the Hull game I was thinking, along with probably many more, this is probably the best result in the short term. Yes the new coach will inherit the same players, but at least we the supporters can feel we are at least moving in the right direction. Smith moves on with a pocket full of cash and we hope the second part of the season is at least bearable. I hate to think what the atmosphere could have been like on Friday if we had gone a few points behind with RS still in charge.

| He's not deluded at all. He's trying to preserve his dignity and future employability. Whilst we may all want him to come out and admit its been a bit of a mess this year, you can hardly expect him to do that.

| Is there any natural captain in the squad? Croft doesn't seem to have much of a voice on the field. You can see why being chief playmaker didn't work for him at the Broncos. Frawley would seem to check the right boxes for captain except there's not much evidence he can actually play to any standard.

| We won’t know the true story about RS until some time has passed and the players talk, like happened before with Brian Mac and others.
Arthur is the most credible candidate by some distance to my mind; and a rare opportunity for a SL club to sign someone of his background. Having said that he won’t be the messiah either and there are no guarantees.
From where we’ve been, I just think Leeds need to get the odds more in their favour now and stop winging it on projects and unproven players or coaches.

| Quote christopher="christopher"He also cleared out a lot of the players that many on here wanted rid of.
I think Hetherington needs to shoulder a lot of the blame here, Rohan’s remit was clearly far too big for a coach of his experience'"
Just said the same to a colleague this morning, Hetherington has made a series of very poor decisions over the last few years which has damaged the club and set us back considerably. He absolutely needs to shoulder a lot of the blame here. Thankfully Blease should sort this out going forward and i do wonder if he is also lined up for CE role in the future at some point.

Spot on Jim, agree. Arthur or Rowley for me, Holbrook is also one to watch too imo. Good coach. I think Leeds will act quickly here and i would expect an appointment made over next week or 2.

| Rowley would be my choice, if he wants to come. Even if that means waiting until the end of the season.
