Sky are the spawn of Satan. I hate the way they do business, and I agree that they've basically found a way of selling you stuff you've already paid for.
However... I like TV. What can I say. I'd love to not give them the money, but I'd be cutting my nose off to spite my face. |

I've got no problem with people making money. Everybody is entitled to make it. I don't begrudge him in any way.
I'm more of the mindset, fair play to the man for creating such a desirable product that even the worst possible customer care doesn't stop you wanting it.
You wouldn't not buy bread because you felt you were lining the pockets of the baker.

As I've said, I like TV. I don't think Sky (TV) is cr*p. I think the sport, in general, is very well covered. Certainly if you watch a football match on ITV, then the week later on Sky, you really notice the difference in quality. The films hit the screen pretty quickly after release (certainly quick enough for my liking) and are shown minus adverts. Sky+ works really well. Overall, it's pretty good.
Yes, it's probably overpriced. Yes, the customer service/care is beyond appalling (it took them 3 months before normal service was resumed when we moved house!) but like I've said, I'm not cutting my nose off to spite my face. |

You could always go outside and be with the 3 dimensional people. I mean real 3 dimensional people, where you don't need to wear silly glasses. Unless that's your thing. What do I know about fashion? |

I don't have 3D TV. Don't get it.
I do go outside regularly, although I'm not really a fan of these other 3 dimensional people though. These 3 dimensional people you speak of tend to want to go places and do things and they get in my way. Like for example, sometimes I have to stand behind other people in order to pay for goods and services. Not a fan of that at all. Sometimes they even try and converse with me and I have to try and appear pleasant. |

How funny. I think that Sky's customer service is up there with the best I have experienced with a similar sized company (across many sectors), and have done for a long while |
