Quite an entertaining game. You pulled away easily in the second half but we did bring on our kids, fringe players and trialists. That shouldn't detract from an impressive performance from your team. I thought some outshone their more experienced teammates. O'Connor much better than Bodene Thompson for example.

Leeds are in a great position going forward.

There is a lot I like about o’connor, just wish he was as big as his dad. Not sure where you play him at SL level

Looks to have put a decent bit of size on since last season, he's never going to be a big forward, but im less concerned about his size now as i was, think 13's where you get the best from him.

Loose forward or hooker for me.

Cam Smith and Leeming/Johnson will be tough to get past though. Jarrod plays well every game I think, very consistent.

Glad Johnson played well, like a few others I have high hopes of him. Agar purrs every time he talks about him.

Could be even more, Lee Smiths son is an excellent fullback in our scholorship, Joe Gibbons, who played today, is the son of our ex player David Gibbons and JJB's next son is better than the one we'v just signed imo, he plays for Stanningley u14s and i would be shocked if he isnt in our Scholorship intake for next season.

Just needs a chance. Once he gets in I think he'll be there for good. Neither Leeming or Dyer will want to cop an injury.

Agreed. Can't see Dwyer stopping him. He looks a very clever 9 and can play in the halves aswell.

In terms of the other young men,
Morgan Gannon has taken to SL like a duck to water. Probably best at SR.
Jarod O'connor looks capable aswell. Will more than likely see his best work at 13
