Salford crumbled very badly.
Leeds took advantage of some pathetic tackling attempts.
It took Leeds 18 mins to complete a set. (unless I missed one).
Alibert got made some very bad calls, most notably Watkins' chip over the top and the Salford man was grabbing his waist pulling him back, incredibly Alibert and his touch judge missed it - Shocking.
Quite a number of southstanders managed to use use foul, abusive and racist language all in one chant - well done.......


Watkins and Hauraki had there best games in a Rhinos shirt.

A much improved performance tonight still concerns about Senior defensively imo but credit where credit is due Kirke ,Jjb and co worked hard to make the metres and Webb ,Watkins,Sinfield and Burrow ran the Salford side ragged.
It was'nt great to see some penalties for dissent (Webby and Jjb) but Alibert was awful especially in the 2nd half so hopefully it won't be a regular thing.
Shame about Bjb's injury and hope it's not too long term although the Abbo ,Watkins Centre/Wing partnership did the business.
Great to see young Singleton get a run out and he did alright imo and Mcshane looked sharp around the ruck.
Of course there'll suggestions abouit how weak the opposition were but that was because we were so dominant with a decimated team so the lads deserve the plaudits tonight.

I've little to no interest in low-intensity fixtures involving Super League whipping-boy clubs like Salford who will never be competitive and only exist to make up the numbers.

Leeds current form and coaching regime is inept and it's a tragedy that so many relatively comfortable SL fixtures are available to them throughout the season which only assist in papering over the cracks.

Super League is a de facto 4 or 5 team competition and beating rubbish teams like Salford means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Relax.

Leeds were only playing Salford.

You did, our very first one! I commented on it being a good set to a mate. Our subsequent failures to complete were then blamed on me for putting the mockers on them.

National origin does come under racism as far as I'm aware. Either way it over stepped the mark, the ground announcements and big screen messages highlighted that.

Well they certainly didn't do a very good job of completing many until the 18 min mark. We then forced 2 goal line drop outs and suddenly started to look like a Leeds Rhinos team.

If I had to sum up that performance in one word, comparing it to how we have played so far this season, that word would be "patient". We did lose the ball a bit in the first 20, and it was against lesser opposition, but on the whole it was a much more patient display with players waiting until the pass was on before giving it.

Actually, being French is an ethnicity, just in the way that being British is. Have you never filled out an equal opportunities form? Ethnicity is more about shared cultural traits whereas race is defined by common descent.

Anyway, any of the fringe squad players look good enough to retain a spot when the more experienced props start to come back?
