Metres made is an important stat, only a Rhino would suggest otherwise.

Metres per carry means bob all, because it's only valid for comparing two players who made the same amount of carries.

statistics can be made to mean anything.
a team like saints who score a lot of tries get to recieve the ball more from kick offs.. i would expect graham to make 100m a game from this alone.

But you look at Fozzard who has played more games and made more carries and compare it to the four chosen Leeds props, is this a fair stat? More games should obviously equal more meters, hence why taking an average is actually the only fair way forward.

Leeds are currently as dominant as any side has ever been in the Super League era but their trophy cabinet isn't exactly bursting as they keep losing in the Challenge Cup. Leeds are a good team, a great team would win both.

I've done no such thing. I've merely pointed out that despite being dominant at the moment Leeds aren't doing as well in the trophy collecting business as they should be.
