I`m in the minority here as I thought he did ok especially with his aggression in defence.
He could have made more yards for a prop but we are not entirely blessed with good yardage makers amongst our front row with the exception of Oledzki who has little aggression in defence!!

Not impressed, personally. Good athlete, likes to try to offload, but error prone, and has a pretty low work rate

Good move for both, hopefully Smith can have a good run and then try to challenge N. McCormack for 1st backup centre (or even wing) in the off season

1157.jpg It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.:1157.jpg |

| Smith and McCormack should be our Centre pairing in 2-3 years time, they both need games (when not injured) and they will both come good. Max Simpson is another who will make it too if he can stay fit. We have a lot of good young backs coming through, we need to develop the young forwards like Littlewood and Gannon (is he still a kid?) so we can top that up with the British and O/S signings.

Big lad loads of potential whats not to like about the kid? Him and Martin only forwards who haven't missed due to injury from our powder puff pack.

He was here for 5 weeks.
Mik hasn’t been injured in that time, nor Macdonnell?
I would like to have kept Eseh, I still think there’s a possibility tbat we could get him off Wigan for next year.

| Surely we don't need another player with potential. We have a load already. We need a proven player in now. More quality less numbers

| We need 4-5 new forwards, 2 new centres a winger at least for next year. But due to existing contracts how do we do it.
Cannot see us competing before end of the decade

| The resignings of Fusitua and Bentley continue to cement themselves among the worst retention decisions in the history of Super League.
Anyone with any input should hang their head in shame

| Well one thing Smith did show is that its possible to get rid of players who are contracted if there's a will to do it. None of the players he shunted out were a big loss. Sadly too many of the replacements are poor and the wrong type of player. I can't see us doing enough of a cleanout to fix next year, but if we start making better decisions and younger players develop the longer term looks good.

| I’d like Eseh plus a starting calibre prop ideally.
We are desperate for a different type of back row. Especially with Martin going.
I don’t think that’s a big ask considering we can use Hall/edgell/ Smith/Mcormack for the Fus wing berth. Eseh wouldn’t be unobtainable I don’t think. Big NRL prop and back row with the two quota spots, then give Arthur a preseason to weed out the weak.
My only other thought would be he might look at his sons, Matt’s a hooker, which would allow us to use O’Connor at 13, and Jake is a half, but I think he’s just signed for Manly.
Realistically looking at Arthur’s eels teams they were built around massive packs. Paulo, Campbell-Gillard, Lane and previously guys like Nathan Brown. If Arthur stays that’s his teams blueprint so I’d imagine that’d be where he’d start.
