| We need a big prop to come in for Fussy and a big 2nd row to come in for Martin. We really then need another solid first 17 prop. After that, it will be depend if we release anyone i.e. Frawley, Momo and Miller.

| I think we have a group of young players who should be closer to being SL players by the kick off next season, plus a couple like Gannon and Simpson to come back from injury, and you might include Holroyd and Hudson in that mix too - both would probably benefit from a full pre-season uninjured.
If we add 2 more real high calibre forwards, get better organised, and have better luck then I can see class of 25 being a step up on class of 24. It's all about driving for standards and quality now in my view. If we have more players who can inspire and set the tone, I think it will aid the development of the young guys and we'll be going firmly in the right direction.

| It's hard to judge a number of players as they are constantly playing behind a weak front row, that has to be addressed first. I'm hoping Arthur can make a difference to Sangare but wont hold my breath. Holroyd never plays, Hudson I've never seen, Donaldson and Goudemand aren't props.

If we only add two quality forwards (you seem to be advocating one prop and one second row) we are once again saying Holroyd is certainty in our 1st choice prop rotation. I don't think - given both injury and performance - we can let this happen again. Tom needs to be fighting it out for 4th man with Lisone and Sangare.

I'd love a third and fourth addition Clueso but where are they coming from with cap and quota restrictions?
What I don't think works is stacking the side out with the players we have been for almost a decade.
I also think we have issues at 7 (a few good performances doesn't make Frawley a title winning half back IMO), and at centre.
If we add a real high quality prop in the Mik+ bracket I think the trickle-down effect of that is significant, and I think some more power in the back row would help the props. It does depend who is available too of course in this market.

Oh I do Jim, for coming through and surviving years of personal hell, for an amazing young family, a brilliant job and supportive people in my life. My feelings about the rhino's though are nothing to do with positivity but assessing and commenting on what's there and has been in pain sight for years, not just some blind faith.
When i see something that merits positive optimism i comment accordingly, when i see something that merits the opposite i also comment accordingly, its just how i am. I get that continual negativity is a bit tiresome but its all theres been evidence for for so long. Blind optimism in the face of the opposite is just as tiresome too though, 'insisting the sky is blue when its clearly not'.

we definitely need 2 more ready made starting props and one back rower that's our priority for 25. we also don't need projects squad fillers, and also need to offload some of the sick notes. the amount of players sat in the stands is killing our cap space
Fusitua -get rid
Donaldson - don't resign
Hudson- not played game get rid
warren not played a game - get rid
Max Simpson not played for 2 years - get rid
Gannon- talent but too injury prone one more year to prove he can hack it injurie wise or get rid.
Holdroyd- does not play enough -see out contract or get rid if cannot stay fit
Ruane great prospect - should be given game time with us not loaned out. hopefully his run at Hull is successful if he cannot break into that side then get rid.
A few others as well Newman needs to stay fit and start performing.
don't know what that equites to cap wise but that's at least 8 players (including martin) that could be gone and replace with 3-4 first choice starters.

Probably true but the hypocrisy is pretty breathtaking from the RS out brigade honestly! I'll try to be less repetitive.

1157.jpg It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.:1157.jpg |

| Coming back to the topic, what we need in the first round of recruitment are a pair of Kylie Leuluai’s and a young Adrian Morley. Once we sort the pack out, the halves and backs will look better without recruitment there. If we only add three or four players in the coming off season, they all need to be starting quality forwards.
