Lot's of aussies struggle in their first season in SL, I remember the crowd screaming at players not to pass to Scott Donald, because he kept dropping it in his first year, but look what a player he turned out to be.
If I remember correctly he was also Roosters goal kicker, so may be our next best option when Martin leaves.'"
You were near to getting it right , he has been poor and sometimes ordinary

| Hull have signed Leon Ruan off you until the end of the year, what are your thoughts on him?

I can't knock it as a deal to the end of the year. We are short on props anyway, and even more so with current injuries. If we were to announce him for 2025 I would not be happy, but in the short term, with Fusitua making way, it makes sense to me.

Raw but has size and youth on his side.

| Leon Ruan has joined Hull FC on loan folr the rest of the season Leeds can recall him back at anytime, I'm disappointed with this one he's shown some good glimpses when he's played this season and we're already short in forwards, he's not an out and out middle but he's a big body who can do a stint there, been a poor week from the club with transfer news.

| Odd one imo, I'd send Donaldson before Ruan. He offers something different.
At least he will get game time

| Rusn hasn’t let us down when he’s played so seems odd given current injuries.
As for knight I always thought he was ok at the bunnies but granted that was a pack that was generally always on the front foot

| Warrington have signed Yates and Bateman for the end of season run in.
We have lost Martin (for next season), Eseh and Ruan along with Holroyd until the end of the season. Shows the two teams ambitions.

| Another season written off it would seem. Interim coach and no mid season signings - I think it’s time we accepted mediocrity.
Every move the club makes at the moment is just to appease fans - are they actually wanting to improve or just fire fighting to keep taking our hard earned money on a weekly basis!!

| Warrington in a completely different place to Leeds and good luck to them. Plenty of people rubbished the Sam Burgess appointment and while inspirational leaders on the pitch don't always make good coaches they took a chance and it looks to be paying off. They have a coach in place for next 2 seasons and a chance of silverware this year. In terms of Leeds we have minimal cap space and no available quota spots and a coach at the moment till the end of the year. Let's give Blease the benefit of the doubt at the moment and see what he comes up with. We essentially have the money for 2 players and if he can twist Garys arm one needs to be the second marquee. No point diving in to try and rescue a season that is probably gone better that we get to the best place we can be for next year

Warrington released Kasiano, Dudson, Dywer, and the other Aussie prop (I forget his name), that's why they have the space. I think we should have room for three, given that we have also parted with Olpherts & Myler. Depending on how ruthless the post mortem at the end of the year we might choose to pay off a couple of contracts, which is a costly business to the club but doesn’t count in terms of the cap. It never seems to discourage Wire.

We should have the money for three or four signings, depending on quality.
Fusi and Martin won't have been on cheap deals and both occupy a QS ( atm). Add in Donaldson, Roberts and tbh Hudson.
Does Hall get dispensation on SC for being academy trained?. Either way he won't be on much, just a stop gap to cover fusi while the academy lads transition to first team.
Didn't we also lose Myler late in 23'? .
If we only have cap space for two mid level signings we are in a very bad place

Hudson is contracted until 2025, Corey Johnson is out of contract though and of course we won’t be paying Olpherts to play for wakey next season. I think Hall will still be on a decent wedge.
How much that all adds up ? No idea
