| Haven't watched it back yet, but at the game I was initially quite alarmed at the lack of line speed. However, as the game went on (I think Seth mentioned this also) it did start to look as if we had deliberately sacrificed this for a more organised, straighter line. Won't work every week, but it was very effective. The way we tired out their middles with changes of direction - at pace - was also really smart. Other than the players already mentioned by others I'd also add the Fusitua was excellent in every regard and made his second try look easy. Sutcliffe, who I have never been a fan of, got away two lovely round the back passes for Donaldson and Handley. I hope he continues to prove me wrong.

Why is it always about you? Anybody with half a brain knows he is a very good player. Full vindication of the clubs decision will come when he strings a two or three years together without letting teammates, supporters and himself down. Stop trying to provoke another argument.

| Not to repeat too much what others have said, they’re are a couple of real telling coaching points for me that show we’ve got a good one in Rohan Smith. Namely Myler looking serviceable in the halves (Shows he’s been given a really clear gameplan) Dwyer being used how he should be, simultaneously getting the best out of Leeming and the halves because of this, and Cam Smith’s discipline getting sorted- I think this could be because he’s been spelled more effectively with O’Connor and others.

I thought Sutty handled matautia pretty well too, who is always a handful even if he’s a bit rocks or diamonds, once we’d sorted the defence out after their couple of half chances.

Yeah the slow line movement was strange but if it was a ploy and worked then fine for this game
I think Wigan /Saints will make 20m a tackle if we do it against them though so not something I'd want to see all the time

Post game interviews involved a lot of talk of being 'connected' defensively too as well as being calm. Sometimes players get lost in trying to display intensity and the quality gets lost. Like the amateur coaches who spend half a session getting the team to scream 'ssssseeeeeeettttt In!'.
You can never really over use the option to turn the ball back on the inside in the middle of the field, great option last night
The veriety of trys scored was very pleasing and the mindset of the team typified by the one off the scrum base and the number of yardage offloads. A real change in philosophy to 'playing to win'.

| Very good performance from 1-17.
Sutcliffe and Tetavano probably the best they have played for a while now.
Hardaker in attack and defence made a big difference and Leeming totally outplayed his opposite number.
Myler too used his brain in an impressive half back pairing.
Will he be dropped when Sezer returns!?
Agree that we need to be mindful letting teams like Saints having space to run at us.
Huddersfield will be a big test next Friday.

Agree and think Hudds will be a big test re. Giving teams space to run. one big advantage was I can’t recall us giving away many 6 agains, so we had to do less defending in the round.

You think Zane played well?
I'd be interested to see stats but I thought he was barely seen. When he did carry seemed to just go to ground within a metre or two.....maybe I'm biased and just missed anything good he did
I agree Sutty was great defensively and loads of great offloading

| Didn't see the game last night - just watched it.
What a difference a good coach makes.
Some of the attacking play was superb and some really clever tries.
Literally every player looked good.
Leeming, Smith, Myler - all excellent.
Tetevanos best game for Leeds.
Hardaker really is an attacking threat from FB. Looked superb. Be interesting to see what happens when Sezer and Walker are back fit.
Shame he's always an argument away from a fight in Cas.
Both wingers looked superb as well.
Only negative was Rhys's goal kicking - but it was the right game to have an off day.
Wire were diabolical, but that's irrelevant.
Loved the camera shots of Powell....
More of the same please Rohan!

| Whilst things certainly look more positive, I wouldn’t get carried away. Warrington are very poor, but yes we certainly made them pay. We put Warrington to the sword under agar in 2020 before the lockdown, and that was a better Warrington team.
Let’s see how they go against Huddersfield.

| Opposition accounted for, it was the approach that was most pleasing and not forgetting the scramble in defence and attitude when warrington did get it together on occasion to hold them out.

Think any time we put 40 on away at Wire we are allowed to revel in it on its own…….regardless of next week…

19722.gif Woody: Can I pour you a draft, Mr. Peterson?

Totally agree.
Zak the player has never been an issue, he's quality.
Zak the person has been the problem and it will take a lot longer than a few weeks to prove he has changed for the better.
