I am indeed and it is entirely justified. Not one of them are genuine contenders for winning either SL or the CC.
And furthermore, if I had to select one whipping boy SL team out of the nine I alluded to earlier, then Hull FC would be most worthy of the highest level of disrespect. They have the infrastructure, the stadium, the abundance of local youth playing the game to tap into, the financial clout and the fan base to be one of the top achieving clubs in SL. Yet... apart from a brief period circa 2005/2006... they are the epitome of the most underachieving, rag tag collective of inconsistent tripe.
Of the remaining seven teams in the CC to draw out of the bag, Hull FC were without doubt the most comfortable and easiest draw of the lot for Leeds (home or away).

I'd still have much preferred drawing Castleford instead. Expected Warrington to get them in the traditional 'quarter final bye' given their runs over the last two seasons.

Debatable. On current form, Cas appear the weakest of the remaining CC clubs but the next round is 2 months down the track. They are also more likely to UP their game against Leeds than Hull FC are.
In the unfamiliar and unusual absence of a QF home draw for Leeds, drawing Hull away is about as good as it gets at this stage of the competition given the tougher alternatives.

Nah ... it might be good for us to have the run out so you should still turn up.

| I've just the RFL and asked them to cancel the tie as there's no point in Hull FC turning up. And here I was thinking that only fans of the Dobbins (our little neighbours) were guilty of speaking with such arrogance

| Should be a good close game, think hull are a easier team to draw than some names that were in the pot but equally we are a easier tie for hull than some of the teams in as well. Hull are in good form at the moment, and the result certainly isn't a formality. Will be a tough game that could go either way

| Keith's cleverest and most subtle work to date.
For the benefit of the Hull fans you have to understand Keith's modus operandi. He's not interested in slating Hull. The only time he's interested in slighting Hull is when they are minnows caught in the net of an "NRL is better than Sl" rant. Keith has no beef with Hull specifically and his comments here aren't actually intended to denigrate Hull. They're intended to denigrate Leeds. That is Keith's end goal.
You see, if Leeds win Keith's already laid the platform that the result is nothing to get excited about. He's already belittled any potential Leeds victory. But if Leeds lose, it's win win for Keith as he will have so much fun on this forum revelling in the fact that Leeds could lose to such "lowly"opposition".
Hull fans, don't flatter yourselves. You're not Keith's target. You're not on his radar. Also, if you're going to come on the thread before you get your knickers in a twist read comments from Leeds fans other than Keith and you won't see a similar view expressed.
Keith is an evil genius sometimes and this is an example of it.
