| Heartbreaking news to hear about Rob's illness.
Although it's great to see such a fantastic response from not only the Rhinos fans but also from fans around the world with his fund raising page.
As Rhinos fans we have all seen him progress from being a young teenager in the academy to then go on to win plenty of silverware and accolades along the way during his illustrious career.
For me that is why he means so much to all of us as he was simply "One of our own"
and also why he almost feels like a member of each of our own families
Stay strong Rob

Beautifully put. I think you’ve captured the thoughts and feelings of us all. Thanks.

It's such a strange thing because most of us don't know these people yet have such a strong emotional connection with them. I guess it's because for me at least they are living out our own dreams.
To see one of your hero's in such a terrible situation yet still coming out fighting epitomises why people like Rob are hero's. Not because they are superhuman but because they are human but in the best of ways.

| Leeds United have an individual goal by Eddie Grey when he beat 5 or 6 men Inside the box Leeds RL equivalent score just be Robs try in the 2011 Grand final . I've donated and will do so again after the holiday period and of course I will be attending the game against Bradford. At least go e him a little peace of mind that his children will be looked after .

| Eddie Gray’s goal was against Burnley, it was a special goal. Rob has given us so much joy with his exploits on the field, none more so that the GF try against St Helens which is for me the best individual try I’ve ever seen given the significance and importance of the game.
His legacy in the sport is already assured, and I’ve a feeling that is only going I grow with his future exploits. There’s truly only one Rob Burrow.

| A few of us going to walk from Headers to Cas when we play them in march. Idea is to walk the canal route and have a few beers on the way. Early doors yet, but really positive and the numbers are getting bigger by the day. The club are already onboard, and hearing that Cas are interested in getting involved. Hopefully can raise a good few quid for Rob and Lindsay.

| If you’re stopping in pubs on the way, take plenty of buckets for the cash you’ll raise. Great idea.

| Im auctioning a couple of items on Twitter @Rhinoshaund_VI
1st item - 2005 GF Match Ball signed by Leeds Rhinos a couple of weeks after the final in the Supporters Club where I worked. The ball is from the 1st penalty kicked by Paul Deacon which i caught in the crowd. Honestly, its my most prized RL possession but if it gets a bit of money for Rob and his family I am willing to part with it.
2nd Item - A medium, unworn, 2017 Leeds Rhinos home shirt signed on the front by the 2017 squad. Again, its special to me but like I said, its a worthy cause.
Head on to my Twitter for pics and make me an offer. Ends Boxing day, and Ill be at the game to deliver.
