Holroyd is still young and has come through our own academy, he's worth a place in the 17 when fit and should get better with age and experience.

Think I agree on some above comments - we've had our fingers burned more than once signing big names whose best years were well behind them. We probably need more of an undiscovered gem with the physical attributes to cause problems. I have said we should splash the cash for the right player but if you're talking £400-500k a year with a long-term commitment it probably isn't justifiable really.

You're not wrong. Hopefully we retain Martin for a fair price/ short deal. If not , we need to sign a big backrower ro join the two props imo.

With the HIA concussion stuff that's kept players out for long spells I'm not sure what we can do about it.

I think I've worked out the pattern with the recent coaching appointments at Leeds - Agar, JJB, Smith, Walker and Arthur - a succession of fully bald or shaven headed men.

This surely rules out Rowley - Keith Senior for 2025 it is then.
