The last time Defoe and Rooney played up front together.....3rd March against Egypt. Defoe was brought off at half time when we were 1-0 down.

I think what they need is finihsers out there tonight. Defoe is a finisher, and Heskey is not. It will also allow Rooney to drop a bit deeper, in more like his role for Man U.

the game for me is won and lost in midfield. We've looked lightweight and poor so far. lets hope we improve
