When it comes to transfer fees, GH is the receiver rather than the giver.

If an ordinary player like Griffin wishes to join Leeds in order to better himself, he'll have to stump up the transfer fee.

I cannot understand why we are interested in Griffin a very ordinary prop no real fire in him. yet we have a young prop at Wakefield who has again won their MOM in a beaten and poor team yet makes good yardage week in week out puts in the tackles. Written off by many after one poor game yet is doing the things that we need in our forwards 'someone to make the yards' and a good offloader to bargain.

Griffin took our indifference to mean we would not ask for a fee.... apparently Thewlis said get a better deal and you can go... griff didn't think about been on contract until end 2012.. part of the better deal was a fee for us....
