The general concensus from down under appears to be that he is very solid in defence, but offers little going forward.
Probably sounds a little like Toopi in those regards.
A 23 year old playing every week in the NRL can't exactly be a terrible player.

Don't know anything about him really, but it's been pretty obvious we needed a centre for next year, so if it does nothing else it ticks that box.
Obviously I'll wait until July next year before I form an opinion on his ability.

Very true. Add to that Mullins and Clyde.
One excellent factor he's at the right age and not here for a pension. He'll ony get better. He'll also be nicely battle hardened in the fine school that is the NRL.. I just can't beleive some of the ''he's garbage'' school children comments on here..  |

Very wise, so will i. You can never be 100% sure on any signing, but lets hope he turns out to be a good un.  |

Both Delaney and Eastwood (ok might not work out that one) are young lads who are coming to play Rugby League, not to top up their pension funds. |

Absoloutley. Good move by the club.
McClennan's comments sound good about the lad. Good to see he got in the city country game too so he's definately no dudd.
Head Coach Brian McClennan welcomed the signing of Delaney, he commented, “Brett is a quality addition to our squad for next season. He has done a great job for the Titans for past three seasons making over 50 appearances in the NRL and played in the City v Country match last season. However, he is still only 23 and it is a positive that he is still keen to learn and develop. We look forward to welcoming him to the club for pre-season and I am sure he will enjoy life at the Rhinos.” |

Have you read some of the quotes attributed to Eastwood since the whole visa fiasco kicked off? Hardly sounds heartbroken about not being able to come to Leeds, and it wouldn't surprise me if the stayed at the Doggies for 2010. |
