| Putting kids in is one thing, but they are going to be less strong and less dominant in an already under-par pack. It might help develop them for the future but the novelty for fans will wear off very quickly when we're getting walloped 50-0.
I can't think of any young lads ready for first grade in the pack other than Gannon as we have seen. Hudson still might feature down the line, but he's looking like a 2025 proposition. Next season, along with him, there could be a couple of others knocking on the door.
Re. TNW, I know he has fans but he is not a big player either, especially at prop. He is skilful and a good player, but whether he has the attributes to make it at Leeds remains to be seen - I do hope he does.

| Quote: Dave K. "Do you think you will have a look at Jack Walker, think Hull woudl release him, not really sure why he isn't getting a game, for how poor we have been this year, he has been pretty good. Could sign him and release Miller giving you a quota spot.
Id keep Walker at Hull, but Grix for whatever reason isn't a fan, hence him playing reserves and signing a FB from the NRL (although that has fell through)'"
In a word, no.
Miller is far better than ack Walker and far less injury prone.

| I like Miller, hes got a certain x-factor that many of our other players dont have.
We just need to get a system in place where we can harness his strengths and negate some of the negatives.
Much like Koni before him, hes getting the ball chucked at him in some terrible positions and been told to do something.

Your last point exactly. It's been happening all season but was beyond ridiculous on Saturday. With a clear plan and some structure I'm confident we'll see a completely different Miller with ball in hand.

Miller is excellent at returning the ball and has some xfactor about him, he will turn out to be an excellent signing imo.
Totally agree about Saturday

| Theres FAR bigger problems in that team than Fullback or Miller in particular.

| Kaeru - I'm not suggesting picking teams full of teenagers every week. i'm talking about a planned approach to getting them experience. Ten minutes at the fag-end of a game won't give anybody a chance to develop or show how good they are. I'm more than ready to wait and move to the next generation if they don't prove up to it, but these lads currently deserve a chance because the 'senior' forwards are frankly awful as a unit.
The prime case is actually Jack Sinfield. I wouldn't do it vs Leigh as there's too much emotion, but after that I'd give him a minimum of five games as starter, and only not pick him if he's injured. We'll never know if he's good enough if he doesn't get picked or plays a few minutes off the bench or only gets a game against London. This isn't driven by nostalgia or his name. Its about having a supposedly high quality junior, who has played a handful of games in almost three seasons, and needing to find out if he's got it or not. If he is, great. If not we need to be brutally honest and move him on. But right now does anyone have any clarity about how good he really is or might be? Should we really keep picking Frawley because he can tackle?

| I would consider moving Frawley to centre, when (not if) we have injuries there rather than pulling Martin out of the pack. Defensively he is solid, he can run with the ball and must be able to pass given he's supposedly a halfback. That would allow Sinfield to develop.

Correct, the team is deeply flawed.

| Aussie Media linking Brad Arthur with the Leeds job. Whether they are just jumping on the bus I’m not sure.

1157.jpg It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.:1157.jpg |

| There's a lot of square pegs and round holes discussions going on on here these days. That tells me that we still have a massive amount of work to do with the squad and the quality of player we have.
Coaching is a major problem for us, but it's far from the only one.

| Jenna brooks also mentioned Arthur was interested in coming to SL on sky this weekend. Would be an excellent appointment considering what he did at Parra. Disappointed we haven't heard Rohan hasn't been sacked yet.

The source in the Fox League article is Total Rugby League. So it's not happening.
