| Louis Roberts looking like he might be going at the end of the season, I wouldn’t blame him, he might go to a club where the fans of his club don’t throw endless abuse at him on Social Media.

Yeh strange thing to say I know.
But he has that smacked ar$e look about him making him look arrogant.
I`m sure I`m wrong and someone will tell me Wigan are getting rid as he turns up late for training and thinks he should be in the 17.
If that’s true then more fool him.
He won’t be allowed to get away with the same crap he did at Leeds as they have a strong team ethos there. That and the fact they have zillions of props too.

The abuse isn't acceptable, whether it's in person or online. But control the controllables. As much as one might like to be able to control what others do (and I think we all would sometimes) we can't. But what we can do is control how we respond. Online is easier, by removing ones self from it. Should he have to? Absolutely not, but it's the pragmatic solution. Every club has its idiots, learning how to deal with them will stand him in good stead, not just for now but in his life after RL.

If I was a professional sports person id stay well away from twitter!
Can’t be nice for friends and especially family either though.

| Not seen Matty Russell play recently but I always thought he was a strong ball carrier and a solid if not spectacular player. His strong ball carrying will likely suit the way Rohan likes to play.
I would much rather him on the wing than Roberts, given Fusitua and Lumb's injuries.
Whilst I don't think Roberts is a good winger, he is a solid centre and has been fairly safe under the high balls and in defence. I would not criticise him as he has always given his best, even if sometimes his best is not good enough.

As would I. And I agree, it's others close to him that will suffer too.

Don't start that debate again.

| Getting Russell in means Roberts can play his natural position at centre whilst Momorosvki is out

| No disrespect to Robert's, particularly if he is leaving, but I would rather McCormack, Smith and Simpson get a shot at centre ahead of him. I suspect Martin and Robert's will remain ahead of the youngsters as preferred centre options though as they are solid and reliable. I just think the youngsters can add a bit more attacking flair, albeit defensively may be weaker.

And move Martin back to the pack. Decent and pragmatic loan move.

Agreed it also means Goudemand can go back to prop if needed, which i think is a better use of him at this point

Really?.
Eurgth. He's not done much wrong for a young un. Sure he's no Senior but not many are.
He's steady and reliable, just not what we need atm.

| Roberts has made more errors than Miller but doesn't offer anything like as much in attack. I think if he was the right kind of player for a club of our ambitious we would have seen it now. I like his effort but if we're going to be ruthless we need better than this.

After the Premier league darts last night they had a program on after called "away from the oche" (I think) and it dealt with a few of the players Luke Humphries, Michael Smith and especially Nathan Aspinall.
Nathan was very pragmatic that you could send him abuse all you want but once it strays into bringing in his family in to things because you cant get a rise out of him then there's the major red line. He even had to report some of this garbage to the police it was that bad and he took things like that very badly as any father would "Im just out here to try and provide for my kids and family" was his forlorn reply to questions about it.
The same people who are happy to anonymously send this abuse are generally the first ones to say "oh whys he quit etc he was a decent player etc etc" Its not "banter" its abuse and unfortunately its rampant at the moment with multiple social media channels.
