I am not spoiling his attendance record because that was it primary school - he is now 14. I never thought I would get so much interest in what was supposed to be a "funny" (that was actually pinched from WACCOE anyway). I thought everyone would take the comment with a pinch of salt - school teachers obviously don't have that ability



Emma, if I thought it would put their educations at risk in any way I honestly wouldn't do it.

As an aside, when the power cuts were on in the '70s Leeds played a mid week game during the day. I had to write a four sided essay on why going to Elland Road would be better for my education than going to school because I was seen walking out of the ground after the match - by my deputy head master.
