Shows what a poor coach Wane really is. Still at least it means that the rest of the world isn't coveting our pack gem...

Laughable. Wanes a moron both those players shouldn’t even be in the squad never mind in over Oledski. Wane looking like Maurice Bamford every day.

You say that but England will reach the quarter final at least, if we are knocked out at that stage I think the semi finals and final will still be close to sell outs, the country will get behind either Tonga or Samoa in England’s absence.
In terms of boosting ticket sales it’s more important we see some entertaining rugby on the bbc on Saturday imo.

He's been playing with that injury for months when he could have either been rested or operated on. Instead he is out of the world cup. Further proof, if any more were needed, of the myopic nature of the clubs.'"
To be fair to the lad, it's quite harsh to hold it against him that he wants to get it fixed. Can't even imagine the amount of pain he must have suffered through this season. He seemed like he wanted to play in the world cup but probably took medical advice and the wishes of Saints on board who'd likely prefer him to get it fixed and rest up in time for preseason. They pay his wages after all.

I'm not blaming Lomax. I think he's the best half in England by a distance and I want to seem him play. Just really disappointed that he's missed out on a World Cup, when he could have missed out on some domestic games.

| He could have had his surgery when he injured it not during the World Cup. Frustrating that Saints players seem to put Saints first rather than the internationals. They have dropped out of lots of mid-season international fixtures.

| How the feck does Pearce Paul get in ahead of Batchelor?
Ackers played well against Fiji and misses out and Farnworth did naff all and gets picked.
Hill did ok to be fair but Cooper was rubbish.
No doubt Wanes Wigan connection got some of the players in that squad.

| I actually like the KPP selection, he's the only forward who can offload.
