Do you know what frustrates me, the losses that should have been wins, London at home we should have held on to that lead, Wigan at home were there for the taking and we were the better side, Hull FC 2 weeks ago was ours to win, that’s 6 points thrown away IMO, we could have been on 26 points and talking about a playoff place, our points difference is 1 less than Hull FC!!!

This. The amount of points dropped from leads of two or more scores has been criminal this season.

| Fair points i guess - but Glad we are not talking play offs though that would be ridiculous this team has no business being near that end of season jamboree.
Much needed result though. 2 more of those and that could be enough.

| Really good tonight.
I know its not the thing to say on here but the team is much better defensively when Brett Ferres is inside Hurrell
Big Ava did well again for us. Walker and Handley at the back was good. I was critical of the crowd 2 weeks ago v Hull but the fans tonight from before kick off to the end was fantastic.
Martin looks a good attacking threat hes pacy and Hurrell was immense tonight absolutely immense. Lui is a steady 6 much better than weve had all year on that position.
The kick chase was superb tonight also.
A good night for us let's hope we can build on it.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying we deserve to be in the playoffs it’s just really annoying that we’ve let those close games slip, I would just have liked to be able to enjoy the end of the season knowing were safe from relegation, I do think theres the basis of a good team in there, were a few signings away from a mid to top table side, and, say what you want about Agar, the team spirit looks very good and they do look to be working for each other.
I really hope we can win the next 2 games which I think will see us safe

| Huge win & we did it in some style.
Cant knock anyone tonight , D was excellent early in which set the tone Cuthbo is reborn Ava is a machine & Martin is fast becoming the all round BR we've been missing.
Walker was excellent as was Handley & Hurrell.
Huge win not onlythe 2pts but the 0 conceded put our points diff even more superior than those around us.

| Great win and I'm proud of the boys. I don't want to repeat what's been said above about the win, most posts are fair and accurate.
What I will say is we've been here before this season, let's not get carried away and 1 game at a time. Play well against Catalan and ill be able to breath easier

| Well played lads a great all round effort, Huddersfield were poor tonight but credit to the boys and backroom staff. Great D also myler is much better with assistance from lui and the hookers, plus valuable points from the goal kicker.

| Great win, especially in the current circumstances. Hudds were crap, do not let this paper over cracks the size of the Grand Canyon...

| I would be very worried if I was a Hudds fan after that one. Wakey also looking in trouble. You’d want some momentum coming into these last five games.

Cuthbo inevitably playing better now that he has some big boys around him in the pack.
Dwyer good impact from the bench and no brain farts from being fatigued.
Myler went okay when his team is on top as he has done all his career.
Hicks let them do what they wanted in the tackle but at least for once he wasn't on our case right from the kick off.
Great support as always at Giants and could it be that the team performs better away with less pressure on them?
Finally thanks to McIntosh for the extra motivation (if it was needed):

| Great result and credit to the guys for putting on a quality performance. Defence was awesome.
Let’s have another performance like this at Headingley next Friday, no more one good game, two bad games, now is the time for consistency and more effort. If they want us to renew our season tickets for next season ( and they will ) then let’s see the effort until the end of the season and see more games with the same effort as last night. This season we have seen too many false dawns only to be be let down following the next game, let’s have a good finish to the end of the season

| I still think we’re only a few quality signings away from looking something like.

| What I would observe though is that watching NRL sides, the whole team is in movement together AS a team. The ball carrier often has various options and it keeps defenders guessing. The shape is far superior to SL.
We still have a tendency to give it to the Big Lad and expect him to run through the opposition team; which sometimes works (Hurrell) but is pretty exhausting.
We looked good last night because for once we won the energy battle. Most weeks we’re gassed because we lack structure and then cough up silly penalties and errors on top of that.
Ferres was very good last night but still two soft cheaty penalties conceded when we could have done without it.
When Curhbo plays well we look a different side: but is this transformation truly just down to a change in coach and one new prop..? Maybe.
