And fingers crossed the 12 month loan may still be on the table if Souths can't fit him under the SC next season, haven't seen it ruled out yet.

No if you go back several pages before you got involved you'll see that someone else brought up Season Tickets sales, I responded about ST sales.....thus I've only ever been on about ST sales because that's what was originally brought up.

This importance of Sam's return is massive not just for the obvious reasons for what he brings to League and the national side but this sends a message to Union that League can afford to out bid and buy one of the hottest properties in world rugby. That Leeds made national headlines saying we could match any offer and had the funds available was also massive PR for Leeds and SL and not only sends a message to Union but to the NRL too. Great work Garry. (will be even greater if he has managed a 12 mth loan arrangement as part of the deal)

Hope they are true. It would be such a shame for the English RL game if we couldn't get him here for a year or two. I think the game in this country really needs a shot in the arm and a mega star or two plying their trade in here

I think they will have been something in it. Obviously it won't have been easy for Souths to sort themselves out cap wise so it left a potential for a one year Plan B if they couldn't, but seemingly they've managed to sort themselves out now.
