| I'd like to state that despite my previous posts on the matter, I was never worried.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to feed my flying pig.

I like sutcliffe but he should have been dragged off after 50mins.

| Burrow again proving the difference from the bench.I hope he continues to play that role all year, a lethal option to have up your sleeve when things get tough.

Cringeworthy when after Henderson's steal on hardaker and Henderson shelf acknowlgement, he still dug his heals in that he lost it. What a prick.

| Much better in the final quarter, Burrow got the plaudits but I thought Peacock and Singleton were immense in the second half.
I hope Aiton isn't badly injured, we missed his defense in the middle when he went off I thought we looked a little soft.
Delaney looked a lot better and it's clear he's a prop to me.

Well we've seen earlier in the year that we are trying to play a more attacking and attractive brand of rugby. But as we saw at Hull in the 1st half there, you can't always do it for the full 80 mins, especially the first half when defenders aren't as tired. Need to imo play the basics right first, wear down the opposition and then come up with the keep the ball alive rugby that they want to play.
Burrow was key in us winning tonight (although TBF I thought Aiton was good too before he went off).....yes some of his efforts were 'blind alley' at times but also a lot of effective efforts too. Singleton and Peacock I thought were good also. Hardaker didn't quite do as well on those goaliline defensive efforts as we've seen in the past but thought he did well and moving him upfield when we received kick offs later on in the second half was smart. Moon also I thought played a good part in our fightback.
Achurch didn't impress me, he did have to play in the middle more though due to JJB not lasting long and Sutcliffe whilst ok, isn't doing enough for me to suggest we should go without Sinfield's leadership and organising when he's avaliable.

| If Aiton is Injured and Sinfield is back shortly i would be tempted to play him at 9 and leave Burrow on the bench which allows us to stick with the same halves.

He was desperate to make out that Cuthbertson had made some big deliberate push on Whitehead when it was clearly just a collision of two guys going for the ball.
Another example of this stupid rule that the ref gives a decision first. Did seem like the VR wanted to give it but had one arm tied behind his back and had to go no-try because that's what Silverwood sent it up as.

I thought he was looking desperately for a way not to allow it myself

| Must be just me then, as apart from the run FORWARD to set up Watkins for his try I thought Burrow was poor. Just shows how vital to this team Aiton is as with him on the field our pack goes forward. Apart from the run to set Watkins up I just don't think burrow engages the markers often enough for me.

| Ablett is the one who should be most at risk of been dropped. It can't keep on been ignored. Such a wonderful player for last three years, but this year other than 30 minutes against Huddersfield he has been poor, tonight he was embarrassing at times to watch. But then again he wasn't alone I suppose, plenty of weak performances.
Singleton and Ward are very quickly becoming very important to this side, both putting in consistently good performances.
Not enough ball went to Moon, and Watkins made too many incorrect decisions for me.
Think Sutcliffe, and earlier McGuire getting too much critisism for me. Much worse performers out there.

He needs to demand the ball more IMO, I know he's young but he's playing in one of the 3 most important positions in the game and he's drifting in and out of games. He also seems to be happy to just pass the ball on, when he's far more dangerous when he plays at the line.
He's a rangy half, he should go watch some footage of Leon Pryce in his Saints days because to me, that's whom he should be modelling his style on.
