Nothing in it whatsoever. Anyone making out there is is just mischief-making.
Video, rather than 2 pictures put together, is the key here.
Watch the video you clearly see Hardaker first trying to hold up Hill, then as his weight shifts, trying to put him on his back. He isn't looking and can't see where his hands are, there are several players involved.
Hardaker's intentions are clear. To hold up Hill. Why would his intention, in that moment, be to gouge Hill? It makes no sense.

Two questions ..
1 : What is the plural of wolf ?
2 : Can you knock-on in your own in-goal area ?
3 : Regarding the decapitation offence . At least the RFL are consistent in the fines handed out to anyone charged with violent conduct . Why is it always £300 ?
4 : Did giraffes develop long necks to enable the eating of leaves on tall trees or so that they could look down and laugh at elephants with bald spots ?
5 : Did you spot the deliberate mistakes ?
