| Yes, it's clearly an epidemic at all levels of the club.
That's why the 19s have the third best defensive record in their competition and the 16s have conceded just 22 points in the last 160 minutes.
Clueless.

| Quote: Biff Tannen "we were never realistically going to challenge for the top two with our recent growing injury list so a loss here changes little overall with Catalans and Hull failing to win.We only need to win 5 or 6 of our remaining games to get the 4th spot.Although some do still maintain 5th spot is the place to be.'"
If we hadn't screwed ourselves over against saints and wigan we'd stand every chance of getting 2nd spot, despite the current injuries.
The best we can potentially get now is 3rd spot, which is still possible if warrington have a few slip ups. People make jokes about that 5th spot, but the reality is if we got 3rd spot we'd go away to huddersfield with a stronger team, win that, and we're 1 home game away from the final with a week off. That is a better scenario than 5th which could result in a home game against saints then 2 back to back away games against the likes of wigan, warrington or hudds just to make the final.
In the past couple of years it's worked out well for leeds because they've not really met a brick wall until the final semi, with hull and huddersfield bending over and wakefield and catalans lacking playoff mettle.
But this year, the way the teams and positions seem to be shaping up, 5th position wouldn't be a great prospect, even 4th looks potentially meh. We need to go all out to get 3rd spot.

Agggh right, you think structures played in the U19s and U16s are an indication that the same said structures work at Senior level? Oh dear!!
Priceless.
PS the 19s got hammered yesterday., clearly as players stepped up, clearly those said players took their defensive structures into the game today.................
Don't let the Leeds blinkers get in the way of sensible, transparent debate!!
So come on, do you think this Leeds side are improving under this Coach?

If we beat Wigan tomorrow night, then we would be 4 points clear of you but you would have played one game less.
Our home game against yourselves on 5th July looks like it could be crucial.

If I want sensible, transparent debate "Brian" then trust me, you're a long way down the list of people I'd choose to have it with.

Translation - I'm limited and cannot justify my belief that successful U16s translates to Senior levels of SL.
DOH!!

| Quote: Brian McDonut "Leeds it appears has defensive structure issues not just in the 1st team, this Club is being Coached badly at all levels.
Burrow was awful today, I'm sat here wondering how badly certain players have to be to get dropped, injuries or no injuries
Hetherington should now bring in a Coach who can transition before its too late and Leeds become mid table rabble along with the likes of Catalans and the two sides from Hull.'"
not sure if this is a wind up? but I thought burrow was one of leeds' most dangerous players today, caused us more problems than king kev or danny boy has in the past 5 meetings.
I dont think leeds didn't compete today,i thought you stuck at it pretty well even though in the end you were well beaten.
I thought Sutcliffe looked impressive as well, took his try very well.i think the scoreline flattered us a little as I dont think we played particularly well especially in the 2nd half.

If you can organise similar structures in both attack and defence throughout the club structure, it makes the transition into the senior that much easier.
What do you call as improving. Season before McDermot is head coach, did not make grand final, first two seasons under his leadership we win two grandfinals. and lose two challenge cup finals. What do you want.

Its the sort of game for Leeds which will pay massive dividends in years to come in blooding what looks like an exciting crop of youngsters coming through'"
Academy side ?? How many of these are academy lads :-
Hardaker, Jones Bishop, Hall, Burrow, McShane, Peacock, Jones-Buchanan, Ablett, Kirke, Clarkson, Achurch, Moore, Keinhorst.

Burrow is your best player, it`s the others who don`t run off him or back him up.
