Pete Smith (YEP) has said on twitter that Good Sources indicate Briscoe will/has sign(ed) for us.

Maybe some news next week then ?

Peter Smith mentioned it's a 4 year deal on YR the other night.

If Hall is NRL bound then I say good luck to him. Been a great servant to the club, deserves a shot at the NRL and will thrive in that environment.

We will miss him, but hey, this is why we have an academy.

Money should be spent on Cas Tigers Clark, not on a winger. He is a tremendous prospect, also whilst briscoe is decent winger he is in my opinion not worth spending a big chunk of money on.

I expect Briscoe to come to Leeds, I hear there is a 'familly connection' somewhere down the line i.e. Does someone at Leeds know someone on the board at Hull for example? Thats how Luke (alleged) got snarled and I expect similar has happened again. And they live in Ponte/Feath/Cas are dont they?

Not sure what they have paid for him, but is he worth it? I expect as he is out of contract the compo money that would go to the club will pay his high wages instead - but does a club need to invest in a winger; and he certainly isnt FB cover.

The Hull Daily Mail (not known for having their finger on the pulse) are stating today that they believe Briscoe is on £120k a year at the moment.

Personally I would take that with a huge pinch of salt.

Maybe Briscoe is being signed to play centre?
