| He also missed a few in McGuire's testimonial if that matters.

No it doesn't.
He can miss them all in friendly games as far as I'm concerned.
Has there ever been a more reliable kicker from the touchline or near as damn it?
He is outstanding from out wide on either flank, the best I've ever seen.

LOL Never thought of that!
Hopefully it was a mis diagnosis.

I am going to reconcile Friday as being one of the 3 free games with a season ticket. Would kick myself had I paid to watch that.

It was awful.
No enterainment, no contest etc.
Apart from McShanes 100% effort, can't really see any other strong positives.
The professional job we did on Hull a couple of weeks ago has been forgotten and the home season form (under Macs tenure) over the last couple of years continues.
Lets hope we can replicate last years WCC effort on Friday.

| For me the most dissapointing aspect of our performance on Friday, and many others, is that despite having one very good exciting backline, we seem to have coached out of them a running game.
All the play at nearly every opportunity is the flat pass to a forward, and run it in. Gone have the days where we passed along the backs deep in our territory and raced for 90 metre tries.
Even Hardaker now appears to be playing a game different to his natural instinct.

The performance of Watkins (if playing at fullback) is going to be a massive factor. He's played there before a few times but never against such quality opposition in such a big game. I have no real worries about him in attack, but we'll have to wait and see how he copes in defence with the Aussies kicking game, postionally and also the high ball.'"
Playing at fullback Watkins may see and get his hands on the ball more.

If they can get him going down the left edge like Webb did, and combine with Moon and Hall it has very good potential in attack.

| Why just the left edge? If he injects himself anywhere into the line he has the capability to do something.

Sorry didn't mean that he should attack just that area, but it is one that really stands out in particular.
