had a 50/50 forward pass not gone against us in the last 2 mins it would have been 4 trys in about 6 mins and a final score of 32-28 which us even more frustrating.
We were tripe but yet had we started playing 5 mins earlier we would have snatched this game at the death, a bit like Wakey away the other year where we scored 3 trys in last 8 mins to win it in last minute with the Scotty D try in the corner |

Indeed. Not a huge fan of Burrow, but he was easily Leeds best player which says it all about how good Sinfield, McGuire and Buderus were. Burrow at hooker has been proven ineffective & exploitable against competent teams, however, so the genius of idea of PLAYING EVERYONE IN THEIR PROPER POSITIONS might yet come to pass.
Also, Hauraki was our most dangerous forward, which again tells a story. |
