JULIEN RINALDI IS A CAS FAN

| Quote: Andy R "You tool.
You condone what was in your words a reckless tackle which has caused serious injury.
You condone a set of morons chanting anti Leeds songs etc, while a player was down obviously seriously injured.
You think every fan wants to see opposing players knocked out.
I'm 100% sure this is not the case, I'd never wish for any player to be knocked out or badly injured in any way and I'm sure there are lots of other fans who agree.'"
Ok, KO was the wrong word. Rugby League is a mans sport, Every RL fan i know loves the big shots, And all the players do too, The reckless thing was, He didnt try wrapping his arms round him, To in effect make a "tackle", but he played within the laws of the game, And thats all the players can do
As for the chants, I didnt hear many anti Leeds ones, Just lots supporting Jonny Walker, Who i am sure, After a minute or so after the shot, Was feeling pretty bad for himself
Call me a tool, I dont care. I enjoyed the shot. The massive shame, Is it caused a player a serious injury. But we have had our share of bad moments in the last couple of seasons, So we know its not a nice feeling to be in. Luke will be alright, Take it on the chin (no pun intended) and get on with his career

| Walker came off worse in the initial shoulder impact but the clash of heads did the damage. If it weren't for the head clash Walker would have looked daft.

Surely the players should try and not be reckless whether in the laws of the game or not?
I enjoy a big hit as much as anyone - but never one that looks like it might have caused a serious injury.
I wasn't there so am only commenting on what I have heard reported about the chanting(and what came through the Sky microphones) but as some Cas fans are unhappy with it too, I would suggest you have maybe got this one wrong.
When did you enjoy it?
When it happened? While he was having his treatment, spitting blood and having a neck brace fitted? Or now, in the clear light of day looking back on it?
I'd say within about 10 seconds it was clear it was fairly serious. Any enjoyment of it and future enjoyment should have stopped at that point.

He did look daft, bouncing around like he'd scored the winning try in a Cup Final when a player he'd just tackled lay seriously injured on the floor.

Kock to the knee.Scan on Moday.
The player and the club think it will be ok.
I suspect he'll be rested next week and back for Wembley

| why was it a reckless tackle? it was an accidental clash of heads.
i'm sure the cas lad didn't know it was bad when he jumped about.
watch leeds and we do the same, people rushing in to congratulate the player on getting a knock on.
nothing nasty in it whatsoever and the cas fans gave him a great round of applause as he went off.
some of you need to get that chip off your shoulder

| I'd say it was poor tackling technique looking for a big hit due to the fact his side had been outplayed and had become increasingly niggly in 5 mins before the incident. I in no way think he went to maliciously hurt Burgess but there certainly wasnt much of an attempt to complete a tackle.

| Nando's will certainly miss him. It'll be a while before he's chomping on chicken wings again
Seems upbeat on Twitter. Excellent self diagnosis of the injury "..to put it simply, my jaw is f*cked!"

| The cas lad's technique wasn't great but nothing more than that. Nothing to get too excited about. Hope Luke recovers quickly. Shame for the lad.
