They have gone for a commercial sound, soft rock stadium anthems et al, and even perfect diction.
Where are the jumbled vocals, razor sharp lyrics, great swirling and distorted guitar, great songs about country hicks and chicks, where are the songs that deserved to get the JD out over???????
Sell outs.
So are their gigs.

Like they've said themselves a few times, they could either have been a band that makes only 3 albums, or try something new which they did. Had they not done so then their sound would have been the same and then people would still moan. Because of the Times is their best album IMO |
