| I think many agree the timing is too late.
What i will say though Jjb rightly takes his place amongst previous "Legends" like Sinfield Peacock Mags & Burrow.
Thanks Jjb.

| I don't mind JJB going around one more time. The problem comes from the club being forced to play him for too many minutes in too many games. The failure (so far) of the club to bring in talent to enable JJB and Ablett to be used more sparingly, is the problem.

I think stats-wise JJB has said that he’s still performing like he was 5 years ago. I still think he can do a job; what he can’t do is carry the pack though. Leeds will need a team culture next season amongst all the changes, and JJB is Mr Leeds. I’d be happier if he stopped dishing up dumb penalties at bad times in games - but that’s a criticism I’ve always had of him.
Never faulted for effort and commitment. Top bloke.

| A top clubman, but should have packed it in at end of season. Bad decision IMO.

| Maybe the club have got him on a good value playing contract, because he's built some other sources of income with his media work? Who knows. He's still a good player: I don't think anybody could shine too much in the 2018 team where the balance was all wrong and half the team were playing injured.

| Another who should have retired after the GF win 2017. Great servant no doubt but this is likely to prove a year too far imo. Happy to be proved wrong

| JJB will be fine for another year. Had other forwards put in the work he did this year we would not have been in such a mess. He covered for the missing props in the middle and is still put in big minutes which he should not have to do at his age. There would be several back rowers who should let go before JJB starting with Ferres.

| JJB has been a stand out club player for his entire career, what he does on and off the pitch will be and is proving tough to replace. I expect him to stay with the club in some fashion after his playing career, his passion and community work is still very much needed within the game and to attract players to Leeds.

JJB has given 20 long and hard years of dedicated work just like Sinfield, Mcguire,Burrow and Peacock (although he wasn't a rhino for as long as the others). JJB is as much apart of the Golden Generation as all these other legends so in my eyes JJB will go down in the Leeds Rhinos history a legend of the club.
