Scrum Half = 1/2 Back
Centres/Wingers = 3/4 (Back)s
Full Back = Full Back
Stand Off = 5/8th = Between 1/2 and 3/4s

Comes down to fractions No7 is over half of the number of players on the field, therefore 5/8th.

I refer you to my answer, which was right.

| This is a fantastic achievment from Hall considering he has been playing outside of rookie centres and converted back rowers since big Keith finished almost 2 seasons ago.The guy would score 50 outside of a Jamie Lyon!
He is a superb finisher, excellent in defence and gets through a ton of work bringing the ball back and is still only 24 and should have his best years ahead of him.He would get in any team in the world.Well done Ryan.

I may get shot down in flames but if I had a criticism of Ryan Hall it would be this. Not maybe the quantity but the quality.
With his size and pace he could hit the line very hard and be rewarded by greater yardage, breaks and sap the defence's energy but on many of his returns he doesn't look to have got out of 3rd gear to me. Maybe if he did the cost might be a weakening of other elements of his game, or maybe his acceleration is poor relative to his overall pace because of his size but I'd like to see him returning the ball like a Vaikona or Vainikolo.

| Myself, my Aussie mate and my Leeds mate (sounds like a joke) were drinking in The Green Man pub on CC day (swear this isn't still a joke) anyhow we are discussing NRL and SL and comparing man for man SL's best in each position against NRL's and we all agreed that the only one i which SL won was Ryan Hall at Wing. I'm sure the Oz lot will be keen on getting his signature, exceptional winger and would walk in to any international and SOO team.

Stand Off
Unless you shift Burrow there, then it becomes about 3/8th.
From an outsider (Hull FC) looking in I think Ryan probably deserves it, although Morris (who I think is a similar player to Hall) isn't far behind. Some decent outside backs coming through SL at the moment, not been able to say that for a while.

| Well deserved.....makes you wonder how much greater the accolades would be if he had moved inside to centre or second row

......or indeed outside of a certain young specilaised centre who has the same great ability to slip out a good pass and who is already established in the current SL champion's team.
Hall to right wing maybe ?
Incidentally for those that have stated Kallum is a natural RC can anybody else remember the young lad playing in a 'magic weekend' match in the LEFT centre position making Keith Senior play in the RIGHT centre position ??
Why compel [ispecialist left centre[/i Senior to move to the [iright[/i to accommodate a [ispecialist right centre[/i on the [ileft[/i ?
Either way he was instrumental in a fantastic long range try for Eric Anselme (sp?). Magic indeed.

| Hall played Right Wing for England in the autumn last year. I think that since we moved Hardaker, Webb, Ablett around that him being on the left wing has been fruitful enough

| Best winger in the world eh? Obviously a move to second row is what's needed.
