It's a fair point. Opta agree with that, crediting McGuire with one clean break (and three tackle busts) in the game.

It would be nice to see Boots 'N All (they have Phil Clarke there already) explaining how Opta arrive at their results so fans generally could have a better understanding of the figures they are happy to use as evidence of their viewpoint.

In the Hull KR game Burrow's carries (8) were just above half his season's average (14.14) and his meterage (29) was likewise around half his average (61.7). He returned similar figures in the home game V Salford also (36 from 9), just a quiet game or perhaps working to specific instruction to not take the line on as often as he usually does.
